One of Our *Fave* Bands Brings Peru (and the world) to Seattle – Novalima!

NovalimaIf you have ever visited the Crooked Trails office, you likely heard the ever-present world music soundtrack that sets the rhythm of our days. And the band that is the heaviest in rotation on our playlists? On most days, it’s Peru’s Novalima.

For our staff, listening to Novalima instantly transports us to the streets of Peru, a place that has been near and dear to our hearts for many years. Yet the band’s sound journeys beyond Peru and brings us a little bit of the world, as this collective of talented musicians blend Afro-Peruvian roots music with the modern influences of electronica, reggae, salsa and more. In one evening, Novalima will transport you to a basement club in Brooklyn, a street salsa party in the Caribbean, a smoky Cuban club and even a pumping disco in Rio through their world-centric sound.

Club SurWe couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to the sweet and sultry sounds of platinum-selling band Novalima. In partnership with Alia Productions, we are proudly co-hosting their Seattle debut at Club Sur on Wednesday, July 11th.

This will be a very special and long-anticipated night for us, sharing the dance floor with friends and community united under a common groove!

Tickets are on sale now! Prices are $15 advance, $20 at the door. We’ve also got an awesome VIP pass that includes a pre-show band meet-and-greet, premier seating and parking, authentic Andino food taster and wine, and more for just $100.
