Experience a cross-cultural journey into the life of another people. Crooked Trails works with indigenous people in villages around the world, creating cultural exchanges that offer visitors and hosts the opportunity to share in each other's lives.
During our exchanges, we enter our host's community with respect and openness, willing to ask questions and to listen and learn from the answers.
We join in daily activities and help with special projects, such as constructing community centers or water and sewage systems, or planting and harvesting in season. Evenings are set aside for meetings with elders, fireside chats, music, dance, crafts and language lessons.
In your search for meaningful travel, consider joining us on a journey of discovery, where unexpected turns in the trail transform you into more than an onlooker.
